Try these checks before changing your equipment.

  2. 02Close other recording apps

    Video calls, streaming tools, or audio editors may hold exclusive access to the microphone.

  3. 03Check the selected input

    Open your operating system sound settings and confirm the intended microphone responds to your voice.

  4. 04Use headphones for playback

    This prevents the test recording from being captured again through your speakers.
